Oruma House provides hostel facilities for men at Kilpauk, Chennai. This facility is provided with objective to accommodate those coming from other states to Chennai for purpose of studies and jobs and/or looking for a homely place to live.
The rooms are fully furnished with homely food and are intended to make its occupants feel at home, away from home. Other facilities include power back up, reading area, prayer hall and modern toilets. The occupants can avail weekly classes on social and moral values that are handled by subject matter experts.
The inmates of hostel run their mess for themselves. It is called Club-Mess, run for and by the inmates on a “No Profit No Loss” basis. The Club-Mess system ensures quality food at reasonable price along with some practical training on time and resource management!!!
